Rolling Innovations LLC (“we,” “us”) makes EasyPhotoShow, a Windows application, and operates easyphotoshow.com. This policy covers both.
The short version
EasyPhotoShow is built to work entirely on your own computer. Your photos, video, and music never leave your machine. The only exception is a single, one-time network message sent when you activate a purchased license, and that message contains your email address and nothing else.
What the application does
Your photos and files. EasyPhotoShow processes photos, video clips, and audio you select, entirely on your own computer. We never see, receive, or have access to this content. Nothing is uploaded.
The one network connection the app makes. When you activate a purchased license, EasyPhotoShow sends your email address, and nothing else, to our activation service over an encrypted connection. This happens once per successful activation. Simply opening or using the app afterward does not trigger this or any other network request. No file names, file contents, device identifiers, or usage information are ever included or sent.
If activation happens while you’re offline, or the message doesn’t reach us for any reason, this has no effect on whether the app works: license validation happens locally on your computer regardless of whether that message was received.
What this doesn’t cover. Windows itself may make its own network checks when you download or run any installer, such as SmartScreen reputation checks, unrelated to EasyPhotoShow and outside our control.
What’s stored on your computer. A small file recording your license activation, and log files used for troubleshooting, are stored locally in your Windows user profile. Uninstalling EasyPhotoShow is designed to remove these files for the Windows account that installed and used the application. Neither file is ever transmitted anywhere by the application.
What we receive and store on our end
When you activate a license, we (through our activation service) receive and store your email address, tied to a timestamp, so we can assist you if you ever need help recovering a lost license key. We do not use this information for marketing and do not sell or share it with third parties, other than the service providers described below.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects and processes payment information (card details, billing address, etc.) directly; we do not receive or store your payment details. Lemon Squeezy’s own privacy policy governs that data.
Service providers
We use Google (Apps Script and Gmail) to send license key delivery emails and to record activations, and Lemon Squeezy to process payments. These providers act on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security terms.
The website (easyphotoshow.com)
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), which involves a request from your browser to Google when you visit the site. The website does not use tracking cookies or analytics beyond this.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, or with any privacy question, contact us at info@rollinginnovations.com.
Children
EasyPhotoShow is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above.
